The "I don't have any LG G3 issues thread"

The screen is yellowish compare to the g2 screen but you get use to it quick and its not noticabke unless you place those 2 phones side by side.

got a yellowish tint here but i rather say warm color screen display.
apparently verizons and sprints have no yellowish displays.
from reports and videos seems like some batches of att and sprints alongside international vers they have a yellow tint.
but im sure it can be fixed with an update if this is just a screen calibration issue.

but from issues nothing really maybe some lag but everything els is fine,

Sprint,no issues here...been very happy with my purchase....business as usual

I love my G3!!

I didn't even know there was a BT "issue" until I saw it mentioned here. I have a BT AUX cable and it works great! It even has a USB port I can use for charging my phone :)

I don't have any major problems with my Sprint G3. I just did the color adjustment trick today and am happy with the slightly more vivid colors. With my phone, colors looked best with the circle in this location above Camera:

Verizon G3 here (came from the G2)
Zero issues. I did the color adjustment thing, as I did on my G2. Battery is better for me than the G2. I'm able to have my Lifeband Touch and Tones+ paired at the same time with no audio or BT issues. Phone doesn't get warmer than any other I've had. This phone charges very fast. Couldn't be happier with my G3!

with so many threads complaining about various issues, I thought I would start one for folks who don't have any. Not invalidating those who are, but for the folks who are looking at getting a G3 here's the thread to let them know that is works fine for most.

My screen is fine, not yellowish
My BT streaming is fine
No issues using headphones
No lag issues (not as snappy as my G2 was but I wouldn't call it an issue)
Battery life is what I expected
charges quickly for me
not getting hot
buttons all work great.

Me too.

So, I have to retract my previous statement of no issues with the phone. My wireless charging was getting finicky about the position the phone was placed on the wireless charging mat. Now, this morning, my wireless charging has completely stopped working. Read another thread online that detailed the exact same symptoms and replacing the charging case did not solve the matter. It was only corrected after replacing the phone. Thankfully, I'm still within my 14 days to return the phone.

Edit: Replaced the phone yesterday and all is well again in the land of wireless charging.

This phone ROCKS!

The screen is awesome. I am coming from a Nexus 5, before that a Note 3 and before that an iPhone 5S. The Note was oversaturated, and the Nexus was a great phone but its weakest point was the screen IMO. For my eyes, the LG is perfect. I should note that I run it on Auto at 100% brightness, looks the best to me with no battery life issues (and with a Live Wallpaper).

Bluetooth streaming is great, use it in my car and with a Jambox Mini with no issues whatsoever.

No issues with headphones, have been using with hours per day on the phone and quite a bit also playing music, no issues whatsoever, using with Bose MEI2 headphones.

Lag issues - haven't really noticed anything. Maybe a little here and there, but it hasn't bugged me.

No complaints with Charging, but haven't really needed to charge except overnight.

Gets a little warm sometimes with heavy use, but not annoyingly so and never got an alarm saying it was getting too hot.

Not sure what the buttons comment is about, there are only 3 and mine work fine. Easy IMO to get used to the placement on the back.

This phone is terrific, really is a 5.5" phone in a 5" phone package. The wireless charging is great, I am on AT&T and using Powermat versus Qi, works just as well.

My only complaints:

No built-in Powermat Charger on the stock back. Had to buy the Circle Case to get that functionality, infuriating!! I did not like the front flap on the Circle Case, so I cut it off. So while I love the phone, my Case is a bit of kludge. AT&T - Please come out with a Powermat Case without the Front Flap!!

No support from Jawbone yet on the UP24 app. I am an avid UP24 user and need this app! LOL, I still carry around my Nexus 5 just to track my steps and sleep...

The stock email app was mediocre, switched to CloudMagic and all was good.

I know you mean well, but I have to be honest with you here. Just seeing a thread like this existing in the first place along with the above statement would cause me to worry even more as a potential buyer because the first thing I would think is "if all was well this thread wouldn't even be here"

After 23 hours since picking her up and customized it (Nova Prime, Nox, HD Widgets, etc.) I'm very happy and no complaints in fact I'm reminded why I love it so much now that LG improved the UI.

I'm watching The Newsroom (HBO, highly recommended!) and I'm just stunned with the bezeless. :)

I do have an issue with my LG G3. It gets hot very easily. The overheating warning has only appeared twice but it feels too hot almost all the time. I try to watch youtube videos and after two you can feel it getting hot. And I have only played Plants vs Zombies 2 and Monument Valley and it almost burns. It's so annoying, I thought it was normal but then I don't know what to do. I might try to use my warranty if you guys do not experience the same thing.

P

I think it's normal. I was trying to figure it out but it seems it's the normal temperature.

After a few days and with a case you won't notice it anymore.

Just adding my no material complaints to the chorus.

Knock on is addictive. I find myself expecting every screen I tap to just turn on.

Knock on > lock screen > "ok Google" > play [song name] = priceless.

Yes, people are buying cases so they won't burn their hands! :D

LOL. Psychological, but when I put my case on I began to think my phone wasn't getting hot and started to convince myself it was fine. I then took the case off and realised it was pretty damn hot!
