Usually any app that let's you disable it will be safe to do so, since you're not rooted. Just make sure you're not ACTUALLY using the app. I doubt LG would be careless enough to let you disable key components, but stranger things have happened, so stay away from disabling Phone, Messaging, Contacts, and Calendar apps.

You can go into your app drawer, then press the 3 dots on the upper right hand of your screen and select 'Edit/Uninstall apps', then tap the right X on them.

For the ones you can't uninstall but don't wanna see, just select 'Hide/Show apps' and check the ones you want.
