The media volume on my LG G6 seems stuck on maximum. Please help?

I try to bring the volume down but a few seconds later, it goes back to blasting at maximum volume all on its own. Can anyone help?

Welcome to Android Central! The Volume Up button might be faulty or stuck. Make sure there isn't any sticky residue around the button.

Try cleaning the volume buttons with some rubbing alcohol and a tooth brush. Not too much, though. Then click the buttons a few times. If there's some gunk stuck in there, this might clean it out.
