The Moto X will be legendary

I would argue that the HTC Evo was the first big android phone to change the scene. First android phone to have a 4.3" screen and to have 4G (At the time it was very fast). Samsung didnt has a Galaxy phone yet.

Do they really need to? Its a mass market phone for everybody. Not everybody cares about the camera in their phone that much. Its a decent camera and honestly that's all that really matters.
While not everyone cares about the camera in their phone, most people do want a camera that can take decent shots both indoors and outdoors. I am having a hard time getting decent shots indoors with the native camera app. I hope 4.4.2 improves it; if not I will get one of the playstore camera apps but you can't use the gesture with those and I like that.

Even though you can't use the twist gesture with other camera apps, you can set the standard lock screen (slide) to launch 3rd party apps with the little camera icon on the bottom right /slide right gesture. Still pretty fast.

That said I like the twist gesture more than I thought I would. You can pull the phone out of your pocket and activate the camera without taking your eyes off of what you're looking at.

Please refer to Framed - an iphone 4S short story on Vimeo to see that even a decent camera in a phone can produce great results and that there are people out there who like the idea of using them. Why would I want to spend upwards of $500 on a single camera that can't multitask when I already have a camera in my pocket? If you think people are only using it for Facebook or Instagram, you're seriously not even looking at the possibilities..

The Moto X has good enough camera to get me by.I plan on keeping my Moto X even when I update to another phone eventually.
I wasn't posting any pictures on National Geographic anyhoo. ;)
Btw:
I didnt have any issues with the Galaxy Nexus either, the battey life wasnt the greatest but that was about it.I still have it , as well as my original Droid Incredible

Agree...
Active Notifications..Call Quality/Reception..throw in pretty good battery life..and the camera (outdoor shots) and add me to the "legendary" list.
Oh...forgot quick updates.

Exact possibilities no mass market consumer is getting a smartphone just for its camera. They mainly look for brand name and function (reason apple is still so popular).

Turning "Control focus & exposure" on in the camera settings has improved the photos that I take.

Hold on....,still laughing.
It just hit me, people in the future will be you like, "you remember that one phone that Motorola made while owned by Google? Oh yeah I used to own one of those, great phone too bad it got discontinued within a year" kind of like a special edition phone.

Or maybe not.

I don't know if it'll be legendary but it's my all-time favorite pocket-able device that I have owned!
