The navigation bar on my S9 keeps disappearing.

I like to see the bar no matter what screen I'm on. I was able to lock it once, but then it disappeared again. Can anyone tell me how to lock it again? Thank you.

It's hidden, but you can change it: to make it show all the time, double tap on the little dot on the left side
