David looked with great concern at a giant beast made of fire in the distance. This beast was huge even from far away. Marcus said in a low tone, "when you time travel, sometimes things can go bad in the laws of the universe. Since time travel defies some of the laws and complies with others, there is a chance that it may come with consequences. That is why that beast is here. We created it. Damn it." David didn't know what to say, and when he decided to say something, Leviathan interrupted. "Duck." Said Levi. Just then a giant flaming ball was hurling towards them. Levi...

Levi said "I think its time to go back". "But what about the people who ran into the forest?" David said, concerned. Marcus explained that if they went back to exactly the same place they started from......

... they could rethink a way to time travel without causing something like this to happen. David and Levi agreed, and Levi opened another portal. Again, David felt as if he were being pulled apart from the sheer power of the energy Leviathan was emitting. When they returned to Alderon to the "original time" they were from, they were horrified to see the same beast tearing apart the planet and the same people running into the forest. "What the heck? I thought we traveled back to the original time?" asked Marcus. "I did. It's still definitely there." said Levi. "Well, lets just go with the flow then." said Marcus. "You say that so calmly..." said David. "Trust me. I've seen much worse." said Marcus with his focus slightly of into space. They landed on a flat piece of land near the entrance to the forest. The three headed off into the forest in search of the people that ran into the forest.

"Do not worry young human, I can change size." said Leviathan. And just as he said that, it came true. Levi shrunk down to dog size and fluttered down the tunnel. "I guess that answers your question." said Marcus. The two boys climbed down the latter until the only light visible was the golden glow emitting from Levi. The ladder seemed to spin in a spiral motion and felt endless...
