That's an estimate based on the usage to that point since last unplugged, so if you just unplugged it, it tends not to be very accurate.

I meant to take a screenshot last night before I plugged it in when I went to bed, but mine got 6 hrs 17 minutes sot with 28% battery left yesterday. Granted a good bit of that was just searching around familiarizing myself with the phone, not streaming video or using taxing games or apps, but I find that not bad. It's gonna take at least a week for me to get a good feel on regular battery life. I'm not disappointed so far though.

Also, if he's recently been using functions or apps that use lots of battery, that will make it look lower as well, right?

I didn't want to be the first with the question but it seems the battery is draining a bit faster than i was accustomed to with the G7E. Different phones i know but i was expecting to be about the same drain rate due to the slight bump in batt size in the N7. I'm down 20% in about 3 hours of regular use and by this i mean no updates, downloads of new apps, not even playing games.

Hoping its not a crappy battery life, this was something i was not expecting at all. I'm sure it'll get better with use.

Battery Life

Just wanted to how was everyone's battery life on the first day. I took my phone off the charger at 10 am and now its 8:30 and I have 35% left. How is everyone else doing?

Well its to early to tell. Plus the fact that there are a lot of variables like carrier, cell reception etc etc.

But I went to work last night at 9pm at 100%. By 530 am it was at 15%. Not good. Again its the first day so we have to give it a week or two.

I remember my S7 having a similar issue. I ended up doing a system reset and starting from scratch and that helped stretch out the battery for the majority of thr day.

I might do a post next week if I do reset. I'll point out what i did, downloaded, settings etc etc if successful.

I've been curious about the battery life on the n7. My s7e's battery life has really gone downhill in the last couple months with the same apps and usage patterns.

Give it a few days after all the set up and initial playing with it. It takes a few days to really get an idea of battery life

Not great, but miles ahead of where my note 4 would be at this point..... especially considering I was in a dead zone with no cell signal for 3 of those hours

Not to mention that it won't take 12 hours to recharge this like it did for the 4

Wow the battery life is incredible on this Note 7 compared to my old Note 3. Lasts around 10 times longer. I was playing a game for 3-4 minutes and the battery didn't even drop 1%. On my note 3 it would have dropped like 5%.

My first 50% went kind of quick, but I was using smart switch, downloading and updating apps. Plus with all the initial setup it hasn't really been left alone since I got it at 530.

11.5 hours off the charger, and still have 16 percent left. GPS & BT are on too. This phone is amazing so far.

I go back and forth between android and IOS, but I can recall going to through the same thing with the S5 when I first got, where I was burning through battery, and then the more I used it, the better it got. The Iphone 6 plus, has awesome battery life.
