I got the update!! In Charlotte,nc.After 4 tries getting to 60% then failing. Making it to 100% then disappearing..restarted a million and two times with nothing happening, randomly popped up asking me to update lol..installed ics(finally)..an hour later asked if I wanted to update again 
I'm very pleased with my update so far!

Cool! yeah the last one I did took me a bit and more than one restart...enjoy!

No issues just straight and fairly quick update I dont know if it had to do with my phone not having previous installations..
Couple more notes.
Check your screen brightness setting. Mine had changed from Auto to a medium-high-ish setting.
GMail had turned off auto-sync and notifications.

Yesterday a message popped up on my Rezound's screen saying there was an update from Verizon to prepare my device for the upcoming ICS OS upgrade. I was totally stoked as I was unaware anything was scheduled for us Rezound users. In fact, I just had a conversation with my brother a few days ago (he had just bought a Samsung Galaxy SIII on VZW) and I was saying how I didn't think I'd be getting ICS on my Rezound for months...it was just my gut feeling.
So, I installed that little update. I think it was like 7.1MB. Then, after that finished I went into Settings and checked if any other updates were available. Lo and behold, the update for ICS was, in deed, available...299MB later, I was intstalling ICS on my Rezound.
My mother also has a Rezound, so I headed over to her place to see if she had received any of the update notifications I had. She hadn't. So, I manually checked for any available updates and yes, that small Verizon Pre-ICS update was available. I installed that for her and re-checked for available updates. Likewise, it was available for her. So, she is also rockin' ICS right now.
Needless to say, I am very happy about this. I really did think that we Rezound users were going to get screwed -- not have ICS available until the fall. I was wrong. Thank God, too, because I am LOVING Ice Cream Sandwich. Such wonderful improvements on an already killer OS.

After playing with ICS for a few days...I like the Rezound a lil more:
One contact feature is better than whats on my RAZR with ICS.
Pics from my camera seem to resize better for wallpapers on ICS. Before, I couldnt get the entire pic as the background.
Flash still works on the Rezound. Major bummer on my RAZR...
That plus my Droid 1 was my alarm clock, but its been acting up lately. Its stuck on 2.0.1., I cant find any usb cables so I can root it and put a newer OS version on it, wifi apps dont seem to transfer files, downloading files dont seem to work...
So I will be giving my Rezound a lil more love now. Just need to transfer the Rooster alarm and Digital Phone ringtone over and I'm good.
