Does tmo not send you a shipping confirmation email with tracking as vzw does?

Just an order number. I figure I'd receive a tracking number once it ships that's why I'm concerned, it says still processing. I hope its system lag like Rep 1 said.

So I am a VZW guy but had to buy it from AT&T off contract. (Grandfathered unlimited data)

Just so I understand. In 60 days I can ask AT&T to unlock this device and then go with a pay as you go nano SIM from anyone on GSM to get the cell option? Am I off my rocker on this?
 
I will post up if it comes tomorrow, I'm not holding my breath now though. I paid for it at the T-Mobile store noon Sunday.

Keep us updated, but I'm telling you. I have been in your position almost every time I had something shipped next day from sprint. It's almost like they just didn't update it because it was coming next day or something. I'm thinking you will be pleasantly surprised.
 
Grrrr mine seems to have a permanent smudge on right upper corner of the watch, looks like fingerprint smudge but doesn't come off. Like the halo effect on the note 4's with glass screen protector. Very annoying. Not sure if att will allow me to exchange just for that

IMO, if the smart watch just blinks in the return window, my advice is to take it back. I took back the original Gear, only to find out it was "user error".."me".. However, with NEW devices, IMO, nobody needs to take the chance, return it...

Maybe others got a different response. I had a very lenghty conversation with ATT on Friday, during which I wanted to bang my head against the wall a few times. Basically, their answer was: we don't know if this device can be unlocked by us, because we can't find any information about unlocking it in our system, and better go buy it from Samsung. As if I would chose to buy it from a carrier if I had any other choice.

I also have the grandfathered unlimited data plan with them, so contacted them to see if A) adding a second line was a possibility, and B) to find out if it can be unlocked.
A was a no, and B was a we don't know.

I have a copy of the entire transcript ... Will update this post in a min.

Anyhow, I am looking to do the same as you: plop in a SIM card from a cheaper carrier, so I ordered it from T-mo, for $50 more, because they told me they can unlock it after purchase (no wait). I'm going to Europe in December and as stupid as it sounds, still hope for unadvertised bands, and that it will work over there.

Bev-Anne Frost: I am not finding anything about unlocking this device. Here is what I did find: *A compatible Samsung smartphone is required to activate the Gear S. To receive full feature support, the Samsung smartphone must be powered on and connected to the network.
Bev-Anne Frost: You would need to have that compatible Samsung Smartphone unlocked if you were travelling with it. For the Gear S I would assume that if you purchased full price from Samsung, it would not be locked to a specific carrier in the first place.

I ordered mine on Monday around 2pm CST. As of today still stuck in processing mode. The only difference is, I didn't overnight it, I wasn't in a hurry so I took the standard route.

How do i get this notification for 2-4 day shipping, and those of you with overnight shipping do not?!

ETA: I ordered over the phone on Sunday, and someone from T-mo called me yesterday (Mo) to confirm that I indeed made this order. Did someone call you, and could you possibly have missed that call? It came from a 1800 number.

I actually went into a T-Mobile Corporate store and ordered. No calls from any 1800 or unknown numbers in the last few days. I'm considering cancellation and taking this as a sign. My order is still showing in the being processed stage as well. I paid for overnight but I'll give it today and see. The excitement level is dwindling. Getting this product has been ridiculously difficult, limited and bad information. The left hand not knowing What the right hand is doing. I'm admittedly a Samsung fan boy but the way they've promoted and launched this product has got me feeling meh.

Guy who helped me could not find anything about a $5 plan, but AFTER he put in the order he said that the system automatically reset the monthly fee to $5. However, the confirmtion email I received still stated $15, the /orderstatus page shows $15/month and a $10 discount for it, does anyone know if that discount is some kind of bait & switch and only available for the first few months? Or would $15/month be the price for customers without another T-mo plan?

The discount gets applied to your account. I have a Ipad mini 2, when they ran the free data for life promotion. I think it's only like 200MB, or something like that. I get a credit for it so I don't pay anything. The $15 you see is the regular charge, if you're a post pay customer, you get $10 credited to your account. So you only pay $5 a month, which is cheaper then anyone else. It's $15 if you're not a post pay customer like me.

I agree. I've never had to work so hard to get a new device, and T-mo proved to be pretty useless. I was on the phone for over 1.5 hrs just to order this thing. Ridiculous.

I hate myself for wanting it despite all this and the limited bands... I am just so sick of running with a stupid fanny pack hidden below my shirt, because i can't fit my Note on my arm. I've been waiting for the phone size craziness to be over already, since even the Z3 compact is too large for my liking, and was seriously considering getting an iPhone 5s, just to get a smaller sized device with good specs.
 
Thanks, daddy302. If I got rid of my regular Simple Choice plan on my Note2, would I still be able to keep the same T-mo SIM for the GearS, but just pay $15 instead? It sounds like it, and would be an interesting option for anyone not on T-mo already.

When you check on the order status page, it still shows pending for you? Mine updated with shipped, but the (UPSG?!) tracking number does not yield any results on ups.com nor usps.com. They may have just printed the shipping label and not really shipped mine yet, so I'll check again later.

Update....order has processed and awaiting ups. Its showing it still will be delivered today before 3 even though it hasn't shipped, lmfao, idk wtf is going on this is crazy!!
