Hello everyone new here and freaking excited about this phone. I pre ordered my EVO today and would like to see how many forum members have done the same.

I've never pre ordered a phone before. I know Radio Shack makes u buy a $50 GC. What are the requirements at Best buy?

Pre ordered today at Best Buy. Seems like I just did this waiting game yesterday for the Palm Pre.

I am going to pre order at Best Buy on Monday when I get back from my business trip from California. My second line isn't eligible yet, so I am going to land up buying the second phone for retail price at Sprint, since it's supposed to be cheaper there than at Best Buy or Radio Shack.

We have less than 3 weeks to wait, that's the bad news, the good news is that this feels like christmas, or should I say the preparation time before christmas, because every day more and more info comes out, and hopefully soon we will get to see all the bloggers' video reviews of the phone to get us excited even more. Ah yes, new phone season, my second most favorite time of the year!

Went to one of the Best Buy's in my area and pre ordered the Evo on the 13th. Still new to the forums and looking forward to giving the Evo and Android a shot, as I am coming from the BlackBerry Tour.

Wow, you're in for a wild ride man. I have seen how bad of a web browser the Tour or Blackberrys in general have, and you will be in heaven when you browse the internet on the evo for the first time. I still compare Blackberrys to the Dos computer of the smartphone world.

I expect it to be quite a change going from the bb os to android. I had been on Windows Mobile for 2 years prior to switching over to the bb tour, and now this switch. My main things I am going to miss are the led indicator light and having it set to multi colors to indicate all the different messages, push email on all accounts, and bbm. Outside of those I am ready for a change and the Evo seem to be the right choice for that.
