I pre-ordered mine last week at BB also. I was the first one to do so and I have an appointment at 10:00 a.m. on the 4th. I could be one of the first ones getting the phone at that location. I have never been first for anything. It feels good that its the EVO

Pre Ordered at Best Buy day after the announcement. Second person to make the list, but the first time slot (9am). Thank goodness I don't have to get up at 5am to make sure I get the device. That will be nice.
I'm interesting to see what the whole tax situation will be. I'll probably have to stop by and get that sorted out before hand. If I have to pay $3 to get a little extra sleep and take a vaca day, I'm good to go for that.

I was third in line to get my Pre' (camped overnight) and was 3rd in line for the preorder at BB...
Im a Radioshack employee, and I got my pre order in. We always get big shipments on Thursday, so it makes sense that we'll get the phones in on the 3rd, but obviously wont be able to activate or sell them till launch. Its gonna be frustrating as hell to have to see my phone for a whole day without being able to use it lol.
Radioshack always has a lower volume of launch day customers, for some reason people just love getting in line for things at BB. I guarantee you'll have a quieter, less stressful time on the 4th picking it up from a Radioshack. Plus we're all super stoked about this phone (at least at my store). I know im gonna have a blast selling these things on launch day.
Pre ordered today for me and the wife, we were numbers 19 and 20. No appointment, the local BB didn't know how exactly they were going to handle the pre order distribution

Pre-ordered fri the 14th in my local RS. Was the first one to do it on that store. Can't wait. Hopefully doesn't take them long to switch from my verizon to sprint.
Ive been in GA since thursday and now that im back in VA i will be heading to my local RS as soon as possible.
Im a new guy as well and also pre ordered on thursday. I was number 7 on the pre order list. The BB guy told me they were going to be sending in the pre order list to Sprint and that they're gonna send them that amount of EVOs.
I just pre ordered my Evo!! Never pre ordered a phone before so I'm curious as to how the whole process works. [I got to BB 3 hours before it opened last year (on my birthday) to purchase the Palm Pre.]
What if more people pre order than there are phones in stock? And should I still try to be the first at BB to get my phone? (I probably will try to get there early anyway because I want my phone NOW!!!!)
And I just noticed that they taxed me on my $50 deposit...
I'm so freakin' excited. Does anyone know how the actual hardware is? I heard that it is scratch proof?? True or false?
