Guys, we've known for two days now that this phone is not coming out Monday. You're just going to have to accept it.

Just accept it everyone, it's not coming out the 14th. Mainly because Apple wanted it delayed to not interfere with the iPhone and partially because some of the features weren't ready. I'm still pretty confident we'll see it before March though.

Verizon rep just stopped by. Said it IS delayed with no ETA and the only reason was to promote the iPhone 4... As if we didn't already know this... Unbeleivable!!!

Well that's not a bad thing. If you check out CNN.com you'll notice a story on how the Verizon and Apple store traffic has been lighter than expected. This may cause them to move forward with pushing out something else to keep the spotlight on them.

I think the Verizon iPhone craze has about run it's course.

Well it looks like the rumors are true. Just spoke with my co worker. He said even though the systems show the 14th, his manager told him its looking like the release will be pushed back. I can't confirm it is because of the iphone but were not stupid. We know why. We still are supposed to get our shipment today though.

HaHa i talked to our BBM manager this morning around 10am (est) and he said they were expecting to sell out of the 30 they had, and they sold 4 from 7am to 10am. Thats awesome but once again I work today and will be checking our system, you guys will know as soon as i do. But for now, im picking up an *phone just to play with it till the ThunderBolt comes out. dont kill me

Yes and if they wait too long they will piss off a lot of people that would have bought the Thunderbolt but are going to buy something else;-) The same **** will happen when the iPhone 5 comes out on Verizon. The Bionic will be delayed till after the icrap 5 comes out....

doubt it's iPhone related.. BMX tweeted last night more or less saying the tbolt hadn't even been passed VZW network certification yet.. i dont see any way it could've launched on Monday even without the iphone launch.

The crappy part is that every "release" date speculated so far, 14th, 24th 28th; I am scheduled to work that day and the following. Damn.

There still is a good reason to pre order imo. If it doesn't come monday, the 24th is just 10 days later. And by that time, more people will know about the phone. So It would be safe to pre order and just save your receipt and GC.
