WOW....Just got another call.....it is going to be "delayed". Now they are saying the 24th! The manager told me that he has been on the phone the last half hour trying to figure out what is going on. The only thing he was told is that Verizon wants the *phone launch to calm down! WTF! By time this phone gets released, it's life span is already half over.....I'm really close to jumping ship!

Called Best Buy in Mission Viejo CA, where i Pre ordered, asked if Monday was still the date.....he said he was just talking to Manager and he called out of store to confirm we are still on for Monday the 14th, Manager came back and said Monday the 14th is STILL launch at BB. I will be there on Monday unless he calls me back and tells me no.

I am working today (Best Buy) and my BB Mobile Manager will be there, I am going to have a convo about this with him as i know he keeps up with the forums. But as it has been said, BB has been telling customers that its going to be the 14th and they wouldn't/cant do that if they dont know the date, there would be an out-roar and it would kill return customers

Honestly if there are issues with the phone I would rather they delay the launch to fix them than give us all faulty phones that would be frustrating and turn us off the thunderbolt.

Issues... being Skype Mobile not being ready. That is not a critical problem that would cause me to dislike the hardware less. The longer they wait to release this, the more people will want to wait for the better phones to release in April.

Skype Mobile could be omitted from the software and then released as an OTA update. Not hard. Problem solved. Release the damn device already.

im nearing my 30days to return my Sprint evo and would like to be able to get the tbolt at the same time as the return...i really wish i could get Sprint service at my office so i didnt have to worry about switching!

I'm not sure if many were around for the DINC launch on androidforums.com but there were a lot of unhappy people who kept waiting for that phone to be released.

Also if it is only a 10 day delay and launches 2/24, what's the big deal, especially if the phone works better afterwards. It makes sense that VZW wants to allocate all of their resources to the iphone launch, especially since sale of the TBolt will probably be less than 10% of the iphone's numbers.

We are a bunch of impatient people. Threatening to defect to other phones that are nearly a year old because of a possible delay that can't be more than 2 weeks if there commercial says February (i guess it says 'febrero' technically). haha.

I hate that VZW can get away with it, but I'm sticking with my decision to get the Bolt.

Another week or month won't kill me. Beyond that, I'd die.

I'm sticking with Bolt too. We've gone this long.

ugh what a downer, if this is true, and the delay does pertain to skype or mobile hotspot it would really get on my nerves, seeing as how i dont intend to use these features that often, and they are not related to the core operations of the phone. I could easily go 1-2 months without these features and would be okay because i know they can be properly patched into the device later via OTA. If it were because the *phone i would also be upset just because its the *phone and i dont care for that fruit.
If it is pertaining to hardware and core operations of the phone (which i highly doubt at this point in time) i would be more than happy to wait two extra weeks for them to make sure it is in 100% working order, other than that

There's a conspiracy here Jobs paid VZW to keep quiet about the TBolt so antsy people like us would jump ship when we haven't heard anything concrete on the release date.

lol my manager hasn't heard anything. He said their shipment is supposed to come in later this week and they'll have them for sale on the 14th. If VZW wants to push back the date, they may want to notify everyone lol

For the BB employees that are on this site, please post what you find out tonight. The manager told me that his computer is now updated and says "Feb 24th---subject to delay"! Please confirm this if you can. Thanks
