To be fair the original launch was March per his poem back in early January. VZW chose to push it up to make Feb launch and he kept saying that was early.

Probably the hotspot. That's a revenue generator for Vzw and if it's not available at launch then their sales reps can't offer it to customers while signing them up -- the time their most likely to just say "yes" and move on. Vzw understandably doesn't want to lose any of the $20/month.
Just return the Fascinate now so you're within 30 days. Full return / refund all together. Then go to another Best Buy store and get new phones with new purchase dates. Then you're set for another 30 days.
Play the system. It's Best Buy's policy that you can return for any reason within 30 days. A few times a year I purchase a new phone at full MSRP from Best Buy, just to tinker around with. I take em back about 2-3 weeks later once I'm done playing and it's outta my system. Fry's is the same way. Great way to try stuff out.

For anyone getting tense and feel you can't wait for a new phone, are you paying full retail? I am and that gives me more reason to hold out for the TB. The iphone is 650 bucks. It has less memory, no 4g, and is smaller. The Droid X is cheaper but the DX2 is right around the corner. Don't get the Inc, i have one. I love it but seriously, your gonna feel foolish for doing so at this point. The TB will be out this month, im sure of it. And while i still think we will have it next week based on what our systems at BB say, even if it's the 24th. That's just 10 more days. You really can't wait 10 days!!?
I went to Best Buy today and asked about the Bolt. The mobile guy said he is 100% sure it is being released Monday. I told him that I had heard it was delayed and he said "not here". I asked him two or three times and he said it will be there Monday because his system shows it has been shipped from their DC.
I went to a Verizon store and the associate said it would be out by the end of the month. I told him about Best Buy and he said that they might have it a couple of weeks early since Verizon is focused on the iPhone. He did say that they had already been trained on the Bolt but it wouldn't be out until later this month.

Yea I get the feeling that BB will carry it first for a few weeks then its over to Verizon.
It's in our systems as the 14th as well. Maybe Vz forgot to mention this to all BBs lmao. All i know is, all systems go here in phoenix.

Man, I was just in BB a few hours ago. I was setting up 2 32gb Iphones to hold me over. I had the manager helping me out since I have been causing some waves (lol) about getting screwed out of the TB the 14th. The manager showed me his email saying they would not have the device the 14th. They were "shooting" for the 24th, and yet again stated "subject to delay". That email he showed me was just after 11 am (eastern) today. He told me that he made a call knowing that I (and others) were asking alot of release date questions. He was told to tell us that the TB would be out and in our hands by the end of the month for sure. Again, this is all FWIW. He seems to know his stuff and has been busting his butt to help me out. I think he feels bad about all of it. Crossing my fingers tho and I can return the Iphones in 30 days.

Verizon is giving one away at a new Verizon store opening in MA, on Saturday so they really have no valid reason to delay the phone except for iPhone sales which is just bullshiz. I can wait for the hotspot crap to be activated later its not that big of a deal to me and certainly not worth delaying it.
Now if my pre-order gets canceled due to the delay I won't be stuck with a gift card I will take the receipt in and get my funds back.
