The store in MA that is giving away the TB is a wireless zone store. They are having a grand opening between 2 and 4 PM. The are also giving away a Citrus. I called today and they said that they will not have the phone at the time of the drawing. I'll be there so I'll let everyone know what happen.

I don't think that store can give the TB away with VZ delaying the phone. Plus this is a VZ store or VZ retailer. (Maybe on the down low they could)

Man, I was just in BB a few hours ago. I was setting up 2 32gb Iphones to hold me over. I had the manager helping me out since I have been causing some waves (lol) about getting screwed out of the TB the 14th. The manager showed me his email saying they would not have the device the 14th. They were "shooting" for the 24th, and yet again stated "subject to delay". That email he showed me was just after 11 am (eastern) today. He told me that he made a call knowing that I (and others) were asking alot of release date questions. He was told to tell us that the TB would be out and in our hands by the end of the month for sure. Again, this is all FWIW. He seems to know his stuff and has been busting his butt to help me out. I think he feels bad about all of it. Crossing my fingers tho and I can return the Iphones in 30 days.

So with BB we get 30 days to return the iphone? (I know its 14 everywhere else) I have been trying to decide what to do and have been set on the T-Bolt.. But it would be nice to give the iphone a shot untill the t-bolt comes out. I am getting sick of my laggy OG Droid. I have never had an iphone, allways been curious.. It'd be nice to try it out untill the T-Bolt comes out and just exchange it (unless I some how fall for the iphone)

Those of you who are wondering if you can cash out your pre order. YES! you can. You didn't buy a gift card, you bought the pre order. So the standard gc rules do not apply. Simply take your receipt and card over to mobile and tell them you want to cancel your pre order. Quick and easy.

By the by, my manager said he spoke to the verizon rep. The guy was down in scottsdale so he stopped by. He said the rumor of the delay is still a rumor. He hasn't heard anything official. He did say the phone was indeed pushed back. But its been pushed back to the 14th! I honestly am confused. Because i do not understand why my store is receiving different info, all i know is our systems still show the 14th. We are supposed to receive our TB shipment in a few days.

Please do not take this for fact because at this point, i don't. I saw the inventory page in RSS. And i saw the in stock date of the 14th. I will keep you all posted on what happens come monday. But as of now, nothing is definite.

Yes, BB has the 30 day trial still. I was told NO restocking fees on top of that, so really there is no risk for me. That is if the TB comes out within the 30 days. Which I would see very little chance of going beyone that. As I was dealing with the manager today of my local BB, his email was from BB Corp. He had sent several emails requesting information for "Upset" customers. It did not appear to be an email that was sent to "all". It seemed that someone was responding to his many emails. He also checked his computer while I was there and the TB's were no where to be found. He told me that the TB would be in his system right now and show an "in stock" status at BB warehouses if they were still in fact coming on Monday. I am hoping some of the other forum members here that work for BB can confirm that part. It made sense to me, but I don't know how the system works. He told me that he knew weeks before hand how many IPhones they were getting tomorrow. Please post if anyone knows about this. Thanks

Anyone think that as part of MWC on Monday Verizon will announce the official release date (24th or 28th) for the Thunderbolt as well as LTE pricing for it?

If news doesn't hit this week, I don't see how VZW can just cruise through MWC and not get some more concrete info out regarding the TBolt.

The RSS inventory screen will show either the amount in stock. Or the date expected to be in stock. The in stock date at our store was the 14th. Although my co worker said they would received the shipment before that. This is really pissing me off at this point. Just the lack of news.

And what did you mean about the TB being nowhere tobe found? You be able to pre order. Their is even a SKU for the device on the Pre order receipt.

Titans, sorry about that. What I meant was they are in the "system" but no one within BB knows where they are "physically". He expected them to be sitting in boxes somewhere by now and did not see that anywhere in the system. I would think that by now that they would be sitting in warehouses by now and he told me that they are not.

Agreed, our store just got the iphones today for the launch tmw at 7am, usually high ticket/first day items come the night before on a special truck, thats what i have also been told by my manager FWIW

Yeah....my local BB only got 10 of the 16gb and 20 of the 32gb. Also, no pre orders, it is first come first serve on the few they have. The open at 7 tomorrow due to this. I wont be there at 7am! If they still have 2 32's left at 9 I'm getting them. Just from a trial run.

Ya I refuse to wake up that early on my day off of work. I am going to wake up around 10, than call, if there are any left I'll head to my local best buy and pick one up for a trial run, place holder for T-Bolt (my OG droid is driving me up a wall..) If not (I expect them all to be sold out by 10) I'll do my best to stay patient haha.

How does Verizons return policy work, say this comes out on the 24, my 2 week date would be monday the 21, could I just take back what i have now then and go 3 days with no phone, and then get a thunderbolt with 1 year pricing?
