Yeah I did the impulse buy but looking at the reviews and launch hype settling down indeed not like a stellar value compared to previous years. Still will be a great option but not like the killer value option like previous years. I was looking how much I paid after the case and it came around $565 or so. I have the U11 which costed around $650 after tax with the coupon. So for another $100 more better camera, waterproof, better design but that's subjective.
Then there is G6 which probably you can get at much lower prices. So this is one plus can't say they are the value option. Sure we are still getting 128 GB, 8 GB DDR4 RAM etc but they are much closer to other high-end flagship prices this year.

I think this phone looks good. If you don't want to buy a Samsung but still want flagship specs then it's the perfect phone for you

If I remember correctly the Nexus 6P (my current phone) doesn't have OIS. It's pictures are fine and it is definitely the best camera on a phone I've ever had. I'm not saying that there won't be problems with the OP5, but Google made it work.

same for both pixel and 6p having very big sensor then google explained no ois is not a big deal, but OP5 comes with a budget OPPO phone r9s small sensor.
