News The OnePlus Watch 3 is a bigger deal than you think — here's why

I have small wrists and it fits fine - people must be wearing it wrong. The image you showed with 2 different watches on people's wrists are wearing the watches too close to their actual wrists, LOL. Also, the 4 day battery life on the watch 2 holds fine - provided you don't use AOD that often or use a browser too much on the watch. The 25% battery capacity increase should easily see 5 days usage following the same parameters.

Samsung and Google should learn from the likes of Oneplus and Ticwatch. No one one wants to get shoved with AI and useless Energy Scores [looks at Samsung; it's not even scientific]. All one needs is a watch that lasts long, gets upgrades and doesn't throttle whilst charging in hot conditions [Samsung's so called WPC charging mechanism doesn't work all that well in hot environments].

I comfortably get 4 days from my Galaxy Watch 5 Pro and as yet nothing has come along that has made me think its a big enough step forward to change that. This is another of the failures to add to the list, once we achieve a week then I may think about it. I did appreciate the commenting on how this all looked like marketing bs around battery longevity

There is a difference b/w getting 4 days of battery life with all essential features turned off. If I turn off AOD, stress detection and don't wear my watch at night, even my Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 will probably touch upto 3 days. But if you have all the features turned on, the 590 mAh battery on Watch 5 Pro just won't last 4 days. Three days? Yes. Four? No.

If you have a watch 6 then i can only sympathise on the battery front. Having just taken it off the charger its stating 3d 17h, this is impacted by where my 3 gym workouts come uring the week, this is a low value. AOD is off, I wear long sleeves, its a pointless waste of power. Stress management? I know when Im stressed without my watch telling me. I sleep with my watch every night. Its used for daily hiking tracking with GPS enabled during a 30min auto detected workout. Its also used 3 times a week to track gym workouts. HRM is enabled for every 10mins. Ive had it for over 2 years (23/12/2022) and nothing in that time has come close to changing my mind.
If your watch has to have every feature enabled to test battery life then permanent location tracking is gonna eat that battery, GPS tracking sat on my sofa seems a bit OTT in my opinion.

We all have different use cases for these watches and the Pro 5 works for me (having tried OG galaxy watch and Ticwatch Pro 3 before it) but in your experience i cant be using it.
