The password to decrypt storage

Welcome to Android Central! If there's a password to decrypt the storage, then someone must have encrypted the phone at some point. If you didn't do it, could someone else have done it?

Otherwise, the phone might be having a major glitch. Not sure how you could get past this, since it's a security feature.
