Question The pattern doesn't work

Hello,
I have a Xiaomi Redmi A3x phone and I changed the pattern, but the new pattern doesn't work. How do I fix the problem?

Any idea welcomed.

Does the old pattern work? Is there a 'backup' authentication method (Don't have a Xiaomi so don't know; on Samsung phones you can set pattern and fingerprint at the same time). Unfortunately most manufacturers and latest Android OS versions have moved away from remote unlock methods and require the phone to be 'wiped' if the authentication credentials cannot be provided.
