The percentage of the battery didn't change

[Android Central Question]

My brother's flare S6 has a problem with regards of the battery percentage... At first it automatically turned off, and when he turned it on the percentage of the battery didn't change even he used it for a couple of hours already... May we know the problem of his phone?

Welcome to Android Central! Does it also happen in Safe Mode? On most Android devices, while powered on, press and hold Power until the Power Off menu appears. Press and hold the Power Off selection until the Safe Mode prompt appears. Tap OK.
