The perfect case for your M8?

Which is why I stayed with the Defender. Especially after it got flung into a wall - not even a smudge on the wall, let alone anything wrong with the case or the phone. And the clip? I have inside ties on my parka that break every other holster if they get stuck in it when I'm putting the phone in the holster. Not the Defender. (And if it does somehow break, it's only $8.)

I switch batteries all the time and the rubber is still tough to get on, and no dust under the plastic - if you make sure there's no dust or static when you put it on. A static charge on the inside of the plastic will suck dust in like a vacuum.

I did alot of research before getting a case for my m8. I ended up getting the UAG urban armour gear black case in the end as it gives extended protection without making the phone too bulky. 6 months on the case has shielded my phone from a few scary drops without any damages to either the phone or the case. Great product.

I highly recommend the SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle Premium Hybrid Protective Case. I bought the frost clear/black for my glamour red phone. It doesn't hide the color, fits perfectly, and keeps the phone from slipping out of my hands.

I bought the Spigen Slim Armor case shortly after buying my M8. While it does take away from the beauty of the phone a bit, it's still very sleek and offers good protection from falls and scratches. I'm not terribly prone to dropping my phone, and when I do it's almost always from no more than a few feet and onto a carpeted surface. Thus far, no damage.

I have an Otterbox with belt clip for my work phone which is an S5. I honestly hate it. Too bulky, even without the clip, and there's a ton of dirt and dust and other things under the screen protector. For me, less is more with phone cases.

I also have the glamour red phone, but I went with the Supcase II. My case has a red border that doesn't clash too bad but with the clear back. It's protected my phone quite well.

I have that case too and I have to say I think it looks pretty great. Normally cases annoy me and I just end up taking my chances with my phone without one but I'm happy to have this one left on. Also feels good in the hand.

Exactly. And that's why I don't like my Otterbox for my S5, but since it's a company phone I have to keep it completely protected, which means it stays in the Otterbox, but I would never opt for something like that for a personal device, especially not one as eye-pleasing as the M8 (or M10 when I upgrade next year).

The UAG case looks great, pretty much everyone at work is going to them since they are less bulky, and protect well. I added a tempered glass screen protector to mine, and love it. I love the otterbox too, but the UAG is just less bulky, and no issues with the rubber cover stretching and becoming loose.

Its kinda hard to find a decently priced case for this phone that also looks ok...

I regularly use the UAG case as it does not take much bulk and it gives good protection.
When I want more protection, I use the Otterbox Defender (minus the built in screen protector). Since it has a cut-out for the speakers, there is always dust collecting inside and requires regular cleaning. I just installed a regular screen protector and problem solved. From a protection stand point, I like Otterbox.

I'm been using a Case-Mate Tough Case after trying out several other cases. It's very protective while keeping the phone slim.
It also has a clear power button cover so that the IR blaster is still fully functional, which is what some of the aforementioned cases are lacking.

I really hate the fact that this phone doesn't have a juice pack like the M7. I'm currently using the slim armor but I don't like it because it takes away from the beauty of the phone. Might just return it and go naked with a glass screen protector.

Have you looked at the ArmorSuit Military Sheild on amazon? My friend tried it & has had it on their phone for 2 years. It's one that applies wet but works to heal itself. Her phone screen had nicks in it from being in her purse on just little accidents, but after she took it off her actual screen was spotless & smooth. Havent tried one myself yet but thats next on my list. It keeps the screen's HD look & feels smooth.

I had a cheap matte cover before that made my phone look ridiculously grainy. after i took it off i was astonished by how severely it decresed the quality of my screen.

Ive been looking into the UAG cases. Im still trying to find one I think looks perfect, just cause im picky lol. But if not, that's where I'll go just bc I hear a lot about them-- seems everyone uses one. I used a DandyCase before, and for an $8 case made to mostly just look good, it did a pretty good job at protecting the phone. I dropped it a few times in the case & it was spotless. Dropped it once outside the case however and I regret taking it out lol.

No. Never heard of it. I never liked putting screen protectors on my phones. The glass ones are ok but they seem to chip and crack easily in The pocket. But I did check out the one you mentioned and it looks pretty good and the price is right as well. Might try one out. Thanks for the heads up.
