It makes sense. Those who already wanted a foldable boughtone already from the ones available and there won't be strong demand to rush out and buy the latest and greatest and that price point would tip past $2K in Canada. Plus, there's something to be said about buying Gen1, again.. at that price point.

Yeah $2500 CAD converted it would hurt. I just hope the Canadian dollar recovers cause things are rough right now. I was hoping to load grapheneOS

Makes sense. I am guessing those countries are where they have their highest number of Pixel sales.

I'm sure there are countries in worse financials, but the "dollar has weakened significantly over the last year making devices more expensive" seems to describe USA precisely.
