The process android.acore.process has stopped

This keeps on happening to me! I know how to stop it (work my way to settings-apps-contacts-clear data) but obviously I lose all my contacts. I then go through my messages re-saving my contacts only for it to do it again a few hours later! It's driving me mad. I have 360 security installed and regularly check for viruses, I'm running Nova Launcher. I have a samsung 60GB sd card that occasionally decides to wipe it's contents, although hasn't done it for a while. Please help, I have no contacts now but don't want to spend another hour saving them only for the flipping pro cess to go nuts again!
