So I have looked through some thread with no luck already. I keep on getting this error when I try to download new apps or update old apps from the market.

Yesterday, I just flashed the new Gingerbread EVO ROM and everything has been working great except for the fact that I'm getting this error.

I have absolutely no idea what the problem could be.

Your help is greatly appreciated!!

I wish someone would. I am having the same issue. I also get the force close when trying to get into the Cyanogenmod settings.

Not 100% sure on this but I think android.process.media has something to do with the gallery app. I was having that come up a couple of time a few flashed ago with the Deck rom. Just reflashed the updated rom and that fixed it.

Have you guys tried doing a full wipe and reinstalling the rom?

I don't use that rom is it stable? The little I've read about the 2.0 & 3.0 Sence roms they both seam to have there little bugs.

Have you gone to the OP of that rom and searched it? Might want to post your questions and bugs there. You may get better answers faster there.
