The Recent Apps list shows apps that I have not tried to access

I have a Motorola G5 Plus. I generally make it a point to regularly clear my recent apps list on the main menu or whatever you call it. On several occasions, I have noticed apps on the recent apps list that I know I have not attempted to use. These include apps like Setting, Google Play Store, and my antivirus app.

Has anyone noticed this behavior before? I have very few apps on my phone and no third-party apps.

Welcome to the forums. That's probably related to processes running in the background, such as auto updates or virus scanning. It doesn't look worrying to me.
