ahhhh, thanks for the link, it shows the note 7 does NOT support quick charge 3.0, when you follow this link on qualcomm's site and then sort by phones that support quick charge 3.0, the note 7 does not show up. thanks for pointing me in the right direction, now at least i know the Note 7 only does quick charge 2.0.

On the A/C podcast they said 2.0 only as well.

Still confused because I followed the link and there is this note at the bottom of the page which seems to suggest that it supports both 2.0 and 3.0

"Galaxy Note7 features Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 and 3.0. The version varies by markets."

My issue is pretty straightforward. I'm not a techie so having trouble following some of the jargon. I've currently got a Note 5 but plan to upgrade to the Note 7, probably around Christmas time. But need to purchase some new wall and car chargers now. Should I choose 2.0 or should I go with the 3.0? What will work safely and be compatible with both devices?
