I've noticed that my battery has gone down significantly faster is I use the S Pen a lot.

Interesting.

I'm not sure how that would be. I mean at the end of the day when using it for just the interface navigation it's nothing more than a really refined point of touch. When doing things like drawing and taking advantage of that 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity you might end up seeing some slight drain but I still doubt it.

Me neither. Its probably that lte everyone brags about from Verizon. Sucks cause I only get 16mbs down. On a serious note are u on lte at the same time ? I wonder how efficient the exynos is with lte .

No doubt. I saw a handful of screenshots from non-4G Note 2's hitting upwards of 10 or even 11 hours screen on time with a single charge, and battery at like 5% or less. Contrast that to my brother's Note 2 on Verizon peaking around 5 hours screen on time and hitting about 10%, yeah it has to be that LTE. Wonder if there's a way to toggle it when you don't really need all that extra bandwidth. For browsing the web not loading media, it's really overkill.

Got nearly 9.5 hours of near constant use yesterday (battery was still at 20% when I plugged in the charger), and almost all of it was with the S-pen. If it's effecting battery, I sure don't see it.

You can turn off the pen detection under settings> spen. Then it doesnt look for the pen when it's stored in the phone. I did that this morning and I am at 70% 9hrs and 51 min on battery. Significantly better than yesterday.

My battery is great and I pretty much only use the s-pen, I am suprised because I expected to almost never use the s-pen.

Well I had 19 hours on a charge with 8% left over yesterday on 6 hours of screen on time, and still getting great battery today. I'm just noticing that using the s Pen, which I've done all day today as opposed to not at all yesterday, has caused a difference. Maybe "hog" was too harsh, but there's a noticeable difference to me.

Everything else is the same as yesterday... Some wifi, some 3G, some LTE.
