The Samsung Galaxy Nexus In At&t Go Phone Plan

Okay so I had this idea, since AT&T offers unlimited data through their go prepaid phones, to buy a Samsung Galaxy Nexus and put a prepaid Sim card inside. Now I have a few questions, I am very smart and am very tech savvy in know what's going on in the world of cellphones. But I guess I am asking do you think that the Galaxy Nexus would work on AT&T's go prepaid phone service? And if I were to get the unlimited ( do they really have a "unlimited" data with the 50 dollars) data they would notice or not notice since its still not that phone it or with the prepaid package. I just don't want to spend money on something that's thats going to work. Please help :'(

Get straight talk with at&t Sim card. $45 per month and says unlimited but according to people they usually kill the internet after 2.5 GB.
