The soft keys (menu, home, back, and search) on my phone (galaxy s, sch-i500) won't work.
I just got it yesterday from a friend who didn't have the same problem.
Today I was on it and it was starting to go dead. I noticed I couldn't press the buttons, but I thought it was being weird because the battery was dying. When I got it on the charger, I had the same problems. Anytime I tried to use my bottom buttons, they wouldn't work. I can't back out of anything or go to my home screen.
I've turned it off and have done a factory reset and taken out the battery. It's not connected to a cell phone plan, so the status of calling and messaging is unknown.
Is there anything that could help? Is the problem fixable?
