The verge is pretty heavily slanted towards generating clicks. Mega claims generate traffic, traffic generated revenue.

Pretty much what Clocks said. But still I love the Moto X so I am inclined to agree with that statement, but it's more to do with how a phone suit a particular user. But I'm still not clicking on a Verge link.

Tom's Hardware is doing the same thing but with an opposite opinion. Rather poorly written too. I'm waiting till some real reviews come in including AC's to help me decide if it's worth replacing my OG X.

I know lots of people will debate this just like last year .. But Motorola always seem to get the overall user experience and balance right to set it apart from other flagship's.

The true test will be what Wired thinks (I predict an 8). They didn't even mention the Galaxy Note 4 reveal as far as I can tell, let alone the new Moto X.

That's a very glowing review.

Hardly a review. I bet he didn't spend more than 20 minutes with the thing. Let's see what AC and other sites say after they can really test it out.

Even if he gave it a good score he won't use it much since he have big hands and prefer phablet size. The same way that he doesn't touch on gaming capability of devices like he doesn't play games.

If battery life is comparable to what I get on my Lumia 1020 and the camera is at least acceptable (nothing will compare to what I have now, at least not until the next high-end Lumia camera is released), I will be getting the new Moto X. I liked the Nexus 5 I test drove for a little while last month but I returned it because this phone and the new Nexus will be out fairly shortly. Stock Android has come a loooooong way since I last used it and I like what Android L is bringing to the table. The Moto X has killer specs and will be updated quickly so I have no qualms about giving it a shot.
