The Verge Review

yeah but what we gain in LTE, we lose in battery life.

so we gain 0.1 in LTE and lose like 0.3 in battery life. LOLOL!!!

I'm concerned with his comments about the speaker volume level being quiet. I work in construction and need a louder speaker like I had on my old BB Tour. I also miss the LED light from the Tour that would light my ceiling up at night when I had a message since it was so bright. (I know this phone has an LED, but I haven't heard how bright it may be.) Other than those two things, this thing sounds fantastic.

Even if I granted you your complaint about comparing a phone to future options, my statement would still stand under the weight of all the other things I mentioned, as they have superior counterparts already on the market.

Now as to comparing something to future options, it is in fact a valid point, as the best phone ever made would have been made with the greatest future proofness it could achieve, and the makers of the best phone ever made would have observed the coming rise of quad-core, and would have decided to wait to include them in their device before releasing it.

And btw, DeLoreans do exist, and have existed since before that move was made.

LMAO who is this guy??? hahahahhahahahahhahahah! First off he was refering to a time traveling delorean, hahaha of course they exist, was that an honest rebuttal?

Your arguments are completely moot. Josh's statement is a comparative analysis with other phones on the market not with materials in existence to make a smart phone. Clearly you have no concept of time. quad cores aren't going to even be mass produced till this quarter. The Nexus was designed earlier this year. Only ignorance would leave someone to believe they would stop production on a phone because future technology would trump current fabrication efforts. Phones would then NEVER be released. I am curious, Poopai, are you trying to irritate people by just spewing comments out without even a notion of thought behind them?

Here is some knowledge:

If you had actually payed attention to my argument you would realize that, even if you are correct about quad-cores, my argument still stands, as all the other items I mentioned in my original post have superiors already on the market.

Now further, for the statement "best ever made" to have any meaning, it must be a comparison to all products in their prime, not a comparison to all products at the time of the most recent product's arrival. And this is of course because just about every product that comes out can then claim it is the best ever made if we go by the latter comparison, and while this can be a valid claim from a certain technical perspective, it is a meaningless claim because it is so easy to claim. Now as to which method of comparison Joshua is using in his review, it is obvious that it is the former and more meaningful method, as he does not make this claim of "best ever made" for every new device with slightly better specs that comes out. And now, given that he is making his comparison based upon all products in their prime, my processor comparison is valid, as the comparison is actually a comparison of hardware future proofness, of which the Galaxy Nexus has little in comparison to something like the G2x.

@Poop ai Is that what you do? Yeah, I thought so. LOL

People resort to mockery and sarcasm when they come across an argument that they cannot defeat but produces a conclusion which their mind, through various reasons, cannot accept. In other words, it's a defense mechanism.

I've noticed Poopai often phrases his posts as to sound philosophical, and most of the time just pontificates about "reason." I think he's under the impression he's Morpheus explaining how the Matrix works or something.

I reject your reality and substitute it with a grain of salt.
