the white on screen.

Hi

I was wondering on why the note 2 screen when viewing a white thing, the white doesn't feel a true clean full white, it feels like there is some kinda other colors.. When I look to my galaxy s3 or iPhone 5 or even my old crappy iPhone 3Gs, I feel the difference immediately..

Any idea? I'm only wondering why?

Is because it's an AMOLED screen. Blacks and colors look better but white is not as white as lcd

I found that what I'm talking about was because of the new "non-PenTile" AMOLED screen..

Previous devices like S3 had PenTile AMOLED display.

It could also have something to do with settings/display/auto adjust screen tone. When it is checked it seems to put some kind of filter over the screen which dims the screen some but also seems to color things.
