the wireless charging of another device

Holy a gimmick if it’s never used and I think people will find a need for this

Only if you happen to have gear pods, watch, or another phone. I don't see myself ever using it. I am in the middle of my second replacement of iconx and I left Tizen for wearos.

Most wearable tech is wirelessly charged nowadays. So you should be able to charge your wear os stuff and other brands of wireless buds. It's not something you're gonna use everyday, but when you need it you'll be glad you have it. Kind of like carrying a gun. I'd rather have one and not need than need one and not have it.

"I won't use this so it's a gimmick" Ok buddy.
He may be right. It might just be a gimmick, but not all gimmicks are useless. The spen could be considered a gimmick, but it sure comes in handy sometimes. Almost makes it hard to switch back the the s-series. I'm sure I won't use powershare every day, but it will be great to have that feature/ gimmick.

Have they said how much juice and how fast does it drain the s10 plus?

Not that I've seen. Probaly have to wait till next week when real users get the chance to try it out. Pre-release phones aren't always running the same software as the retail phones.

I wish. My ticwatch pro uses a proprietary charger.

Ignore him, he's been complaining in every thread about this phone.

*sigh* I knew that this was going to happen eventually.

Look, I'm sorry that my opinion is strongly against the phone. My last 3 phone have been Galaxy devices and I have enjoyed each. Unfortunately, the new S10 line removes features that I have found to be very valuable, thus making it more cumbersome, less secure, and less informative.

Would it be better if I just agreed with everything that Samsung has done?

Fair enough. My first smartphone was a Palm device, so I came from back when styli were made more like a pen and the spen is a welcome return of a handy feature

I’ve always had the mindset choice and options is never a bad thing and you never know when you need this feature as there will come a time when it could become very handy indeed.

I honestly don't think I'm going to use this feature that often but it's good to have in case of emergency.

That's about it. I think it's a good feature to have. Although one may not use it often it will come in handy if and when you do need to charge something.

Assuming it works well, this is a feature I will definitively use when I'm traveling. I'm already looking forward to leaving my watch charger at home.

I guess I don't understand why anyone would be upset about having an option they don't think they will use in the near future. It isn't like this tech takes up much space in the phone, or required massive amounts of developer time. I personally only buy black-backed phones, but you won't catch me spending my days wandering forums complaining that other colors exist.

Valid points. My phone is the only device I have that supports wireless charging. And moving the fps to the front is rather irksome.

Is this a feature I have to turn on? I can't seem to get my galaxy watch to do it.
