This is an EC05 theme
Probably need to reflash a gb theme to get the frameworks right



Why would you want them plain this theme is awesome
There is a stock lockscreen framework from maddoggn that you can look into but it will take all the theme elements out

Its not so much as a theme or plain lockscreen i want its the touchwiz puzzle piece lockscreen. I miss my fascinate and that feature so thats why i was asking, although i really like this theme

Phone goes into download mode but odin doestn connect , drivers updated computer says unkown device error, using vista 64bit , never had troule hooking up to odin , i tryed gears theme on gingerbreasd which ui thiught it was for gb but its not , can i get some ecpert advice, i have clockworkmod there a file i can downlad put on my sd card then reboot phone to work? Phone comes on but doesnt boot up , thanks and take care

I'm sorry, guys, but this theme is god-awful ugly. Don't feel bad; I've yet to see a user-made theme that isn't horrifically ugly.

Who designs these things and think they look good?

Couple of options on Odin.

1. Try a different USB port/cable
2. Pull your battery out of the device and leave it out. Connect with USB cable and go into download mode and see if it will recognize your device. If it does you can place your battery in AFTER running the Odin package.
3. Remove your sdcard from phone
4. Try using a desktop over a laptop. If laptop is only option make sure your running on AC power and not just laptop battery for best power to USB hub ratios...
5. If you have a powered USB hub to run threw try that..
6. Turn off all anti virus apps on computer

I know this is a lot but they are all different techniques to get Odin to work... Odin is based on connection from device to computer. The stronger and clearer your connection the better the chance of the two communicating.

I guess first.. Umm thanks.

Second, seeing how your opinion of any user made themes are not up to your golden standard then I guess your destine to stay on a stock themed OS with at best paying for a partial theme from some "user" designed theme on the Market or by one of the launchers from the Market.

Hello Josearmz, yes this is for rooted phones running either a EB13/EC05 custom ROM.

Paul was nice, I'm not so nice...
First off criticism is appreciated as long as its constructive...No one cares if you think its ugly...thats your opinion...you should keep opinions like that to yourself.
Second, when someone themes something...they theme it for themselves first. And then they are kind enough to share it with everyone else who might appreciate it.
Third, whats ugly about? Are there some pixels that are just out of place for your liking? Is there a blurred edge somewhere when there should be a more sharp focused line? Seriously what is it about this theme you don't like...??? Because I'm pretty sure any Gears of War fan appreciates this and likes it.
So in the future as you grow more mature in the community or in life for that matter please keep your asinine comments to yourself or in a pm...
The feedback we welcome is constructive and I'm pretty sure thats a standard across the board for all developers of all kinds.
And lastly, you say "user-made" themes...what makes someone a non-user? Should we charge you for downloading it? Will that make this a non user-made theme? Then will you leave more constructive criticism?
I know...If we called ourselves a team of some sort we wouldn't be users anymore
Paul we can be "The guys that like doing this for free and sharing with people because they appreciate it Team"
Now, I'm not trying to be harsh but alot goes into developing and putting themes, ROMs, Kernels and everything else that makes customizing Android phones great...alot goes into it. This isn't our job...we aren't getting paid to do this...it's a hobby, it's something we enjoy. But its people like you that leave comments like you do that don't make this fun for anyone and that is why we lose developers all the time...
ok now that I'm off that soap box...
Anyone have any ideas for future versions?

I have a few ideas in the works already Steve... I completely agree with the losing developers part, the more we bash and downplay the devs the more they say heck with it and throw in the towel... To many that maybe fine if they are the type that like a stock ROM and aren't into rooting devices but to those of us that are we appreciate their work greatly.

Make sure you talk with the devs in your forum I know theres talk of it being ported to a couple devices already

I'm not even a huge gears of war fan and I absolutely love this theme. Clearly the people who have negative comments about rom's, kernels and themes such as this theme for example have obviously never tried them out or if they have they clearly did not flash it right and they are taking their stupidity out on the dev's. Your work is very much appreciated.

- More icons on the phone incoming calls themed
- Themed the TouchWiz Calendar
- New pull/grab bar for the pull down notifications window.
- Updated Maps, GMail & Market icons to the new Google updates.
- Added Music Player custom icon (forgot this in the original release)
- Still gathering ideas... WIP..

Were trying to keep everyone in the loop on what were doing so there is the current list. Any and all suggestions are welcome.

thanks paul but i wont be able to install this on my phone its not rooted. it would be great if you guys could make this theme available for unrooted epic users i love gears of war and i would pay for this theme if it could be installed on a stock epic. great job anyways.

Yes that would be nice but unfortunately as deep into the modifying that we have gone with this theme you can't accomplish without being rooted and running a custom ROM to flash it over. Besides homescreen icons we have gone in and done some framework changes and went into certain apps and gone beyond just an icon.

At best a icon package would be about the best we could do to use with something like Launcher Pro or ADW Launcher where you can select custom icons to be used. I will talk with Zigg and see if we can whip together a current icon package with the homescreen wallpaper and offer that for use with those two launchers so you could enjoy a taste of what this theme really is.
