I downloaded several dark themes from Samsung, but didn't like the way the text looked. I deleted them but now I have an issue. Any app that is set to dark has the text that is only outlined, not filled in. Anyone know of a way to get rid of that?

Maybe try Settings > Display > Screen Zoom and font

At the bottom, you can choose different font styles

May want to clear system cache. If nothing works, even though it's a PITA, bite the bullet, back up your stuff and hard reset.

You have to choose the original theme. Just "deleting" new themes may not work.

Settings. Wallpapers and Themes. This takes you to the Samsung store. Choose themes from the bottom tab. Select your original samsung theme.

Thanks all. I spoke with a Samsung rep and tried all troubleshooting, no result. So I did a dreaded factory reset and the problem is still there, did not change any themes this time. I'll have to figure out what to do next. I've owned the phone about a month. Thanks for your help!

Try to install a new formware or do it with smart switch

I suggest that you see if 'high contrast fonts' is off.

Heavens1 THANK YOU!!!! That was it. Some change you make mindlessly can become a nightmare. Thanks to you I now know it was operator error.
