themes and roms?

do themes have to "match" roms? Like can I use green machine with bob's or mirage's roms?

CM7 themes are .apk files that can be installed like any normal app within CM7.

CM7 is an operating system, so these apps can be installed on any phone running CM7, and on anyones build of CM7.

so you can move these themes between different versions of IHO without harm. go ahead and do it!

But green machine is a flashable zip, it changes up the framework-Res.apk of Jerry's build to be green. It wont work with other builds, as they might have different framework-res apks.

well, theres plenty of awesome theme .apks for MDPI phones that look better and are widely available.

Yup, that's what I figured. I recommend sonysekhons ics theme (mdpi) from the market. I'm using it right now, the keyboard is awesome. Unfortunately, I can't go back to stock now... to nice looking

I can post the UOT settings file so you can build green machine for any ROM if you like.

If you flash Green Machine on other roms, you get force closes for almost every app.
