Themes - what would you want?

What kind of themes would you want on your S6 Edge? I saw the video at MWC with the Default, Pink, and Space (I think?).

This is a great idea, and a great way to not burn your retinas out with the colors of the Wiz. The only thing about it is you have to keep the background of the theme, at least as far as we know. Maybe that will change.

Let me know your thoughts about the themes. Please, please do not sidetrack this with remarks about the freaking missing microSD or the freaking missing removable battery. I freaking don't give a crap.

I like the idea of a theme engine built in. But I might still be debating between just skinning your OS with some icon pictures and fancy backgrounds VS the radical changes some launchers can provide (like Themer). But then we'd have to look at the resources used by going with themed TW, something native in your OS, VS a 3rd party app running on top of it.

True. Hopefully the themes are optimized. I use Nova now on S5....

If we can get a Blacked out theme on S6 Edge, all the better for my eyes, and battery life.

Transparent icons, lots of choices (wood icons, metal icons, dark icons, light icons [for those who like to burn their batteries and eyes out]). Wallpapers don't interest me - I always use something for the next coming holiday. (Easter eggs at the moment.)

The theme options is a nice way to kick it up on your phone, but I would like Samsung to allow developers to submit themes or allow themes to be added, that of course will not happen but that is why we have launcher options.

A stock lollipop option would be nice. I also agree, a black / minimal theme would be good for helping conserve the battery.

Does anyone know if theme development will be open like HTC is doing? If so, that will open it up to a lot more possibilities.

A retro gaming theme would be awesome, consisting of 8-bit and 16-bit designs. Also i would definitely dig a Drum Kit theme (being that im a drummer).

Agree with these. I like the way black backgrounds and darker themes look and they are better on battery life. A tron or other "tech" type black theme would be cool. In the video there is a "Space" theme that you can see, but it's a little too cutesy for me. I'm looking for something a little more masculine with cleaner lines.

Exactly.... if we can get just what you described, then for me, I see no reason to root and use xposed modules. Yeah you might root it for other reasons, but for me it was mostly about appearance.
