To tell you the truth my favorite is the stock one...
The thing I love the most about the G2 is that the stock version is just great, no need to substitute.

I've been trying Themer (sp) on and off now for a few months and every time I think I found a "cool" theme, it ends up lacking or just to darn buggy and I delete it and go back to stock. And so far I've been MUCH happier using the stock theme than any other themes out there. Note that I've tried Nova as well...same issues.

You could try the Nexus 5 live wallpaper, it's really neat.

I downloaded and use a combination of "Biz" theme and "My HD Wallpapers" from the LG Smartstore. Problem is I lose the transparent nav bar. If I go back to the stock theme, I get the transparent nav bar but I lose the "Biz" icons. How can I use the "Biz" icons in the stock theme?

I'm liking the default theme for Go Launcher.

EDIT: Well, I was until I realized you can't use the knock-on feature using Go Launcher.

Can you use the "screen off" app with it like you can with Themer etc?

I have no idea. I'm not really the type that delves too deep into customization. Getting something like Go Launcher and a theme is about as deep as I go lol

I don't know about GO launcher but in apex and nova you can set the double tap gesture to launch an app. Get the screen off app from the play store and set the gesture to launch it and it works perfectly

One thing to note about go launcher is that it has some significant disadvnatages compared to other launchers. One of them is that it has no facility for icon masking or shading like apex, nova, adw, and most of the others do.
Icon masking is to ensure that all icons are themed according to some rules (eg make all icons darker/lighter, monochrome, smaller/larger, etc). The end result is that all icon themes in go launcher will have some which are themed and all the rest which are not, and it looks inconsistent and ugly.
Another disadvantage is that it seems to eat battery life for some reason.
