Hi, im coming from a blackberry tour and I was wondering for when I get my droid, where do I go to look up themes for the phone. I know on crackberry there is a themes section but I can't seem to find one here.

Doesn't really work the same way on android. Each manufacturer uses their own "theme" of sorts called a Launcher, which changes the dock, app drawer, and notification bar. You can put on a custom launcher, which itself may support themes. Look up Launcher Pro, ADW Launcher, Go Launcher EX, and Zeam to get an idea of what I mean.

You can download themes from the market which you can install. They generally require specific applications to select the themes. If you get an HTC phone, it also has something called "Scenes" which essentially are different themes for the phone.

That's the ONLY thing I'm going to miss about blackberry...I change my theme daily, but then again, who cares about a theme when you have a beautiful Android phone :)

Android is much more customize-able than BlackBerry!

You're your own theme maker! Then with widgets, wallpaper, apps, etc. There's so many choices to set the phone up exactly how you want it!

That said, the new Sense had theming built-in.

With Sense 2.0 you also have the ability to download HTC-created themes for your device.
