Anyone found any good dark themes that work on the G7? All that I see in the LG theme section are hideous AF.

I'd also check out Zedge for icon packs and wallpapers. As far as themes go, I'd suggest looking at highly-rated themes on Google Play.

I found a decent one from LG's store called "E&M Rainbow Garden". But I had to change the wallpaper and icons to stomach it.

Luxury Black is not a bad theme, and I added the hold mesh themes icons because they looked better, and because I could. It's nice that icons can be set independently now, and you can also change the wallpaper if you don't like the one that came with the theme.

Yup. I couldn't find one theme that looked great in its own. Had to mix n' match as well.

PS; Did the Luxury Black theme mess with Mini View? (It no longer works for me).

Just tried it again and mini view works fine. You mean the mini view you swipe the bottom of the screen for, right?

This may be a new theme, I didn't notice it before.

Yes, the LG ones are bad. A solution from holysky in my thread (sorry, didn't see yours before posting) is settings (general) > accessibility > vision > high contrast.

It's exactly what I was looking for. You can apply a wallpaper after the fact.

I switched to the high contrast option as well, looks better than the themes they have

I was wondering where their high contrast theme had gone. That's just a theme on the G6

The themes on the LG Smart World app are very kiddy and girly (no offense). Check the Google Play store for much better LG themes, they are all compatible (G5, V20, G6, V30). Try the Vector theme for V20 (should work fine on the G7). The creator is Mark Bencze Theme Designs, he makes awesome themes. They aren't that expensive, only like $1.50 each, support the creator. Be glad LG actually has themes, other phones you can't change it (Pixel is stuck with the white theme).

Alternatively, you can download a 3rd party launcher like Nova Launcher and download and install icon packs, there's a ton of free ones out there.

FYI when you use SmartWorld, you agree to allow LG to collect your data for marketing purposes, it says it in the fine print. The app will run in the background. It's almost like a bait. I recommend disabling it, after you already downloaded the themes.

You can go in to setting General>Accessibility>Vision>enable high contrast screen. That will make it look like the LG G6's black theme and than you just pick your wall paper.
