Is that the only difference in the original 5.0.1 update from AT&T? Did they add any bloatware or do you notice any preformance advancements. Not that it needed any. The update has been great for me. I didn't experience any issues at all and the phone is definitely faster with better battery life. All I did was clear my system cache.

I've had 5.0.1 on my Note 4 since last week. I live in Dubai and my carrier is ETISALAT. Eagerly awaiting 5.0.2 FTW

Joy, after the update now my lock screen randomly doesn't show my pin code login and pops up with a UI system error

After doing a hard reset after the update, much improved battery life. Even better than before with KitKat. An update did download once I tuned on WiFi and checked for software update. 142.17 mb in size. Assuming its from AT&T.

Bring the phone to an AT&T Device Support Center (ask at your local store if you don't know where the DSC is), and ask them to please fix the update. (Make sure everything is backed up - they may just replace the phone.)

Thank you for the advice. Is this something you've come across before? Is the DSC truly needed or can I fix this issue myself with a factory reboot?

You can downgrade to 4.4.2 and then do the updates again. Try to be in a strong wifi area when updating OTA. That is about all you can do, outside of taking it in. You will need Odin to push the firmware to the phone and also be familiar with recovery mode.

I really wish they would fix the notifications. It's not a bug... Just a bad design.
