There is a white square around my app icons how do i remove it it just appeared out of nowhere

I was turning my phone om when suddenly I saw a white box around the app icons and i hadn't visited the settings idk whats wrong with it i have a zte xmax pro

Ok thank you this is the white square its been selecting things on it own and its been bothering me

I haven't used that phone that it could be some accessibility feature. Do you have anything enabled on settings - accessibility?

No ive checked everything in the settings and everything looks the same

I removed the app shortcuts that the white square come up on and it seems to go away but it eventually comes back to another app

Do the apps open when you tap on the icon? You could try booting into safe mode to rule out any conflict with a third party app.

Will this Tell me if anything is wrong with the any app

Safe mode disables all your third party apps. If the problem persists it means that the cause is in your system/settings. If it disappears then the culprit is an app that you downloaded.

I dont want to have to factory reset my phone any idea of what else i could do
