Courtesy of Amazon link (which is obviously just a placeholder, so take this all with a grain of salt), I was able to add the phone to a compare phone screen where the dimensions were given- 5.1 x 2.7 x 0.5 inches via-

AmazonWireless: Product Comparison,

(I compared it to US versions of the GSII to see how it compared (and if it was possibly just copied from one of them).

0.5 inches converted to mm is 12.7 mm. This number probably isn't exact as it could be just slightly under 0.5 inches (or above, who knows). It is also slightly heavier than the GSM Europe version- about 142 grams compared to 135.

I know a lot of people have been inquiring about the thickness, and I hope this helps give them an idea- just understand that it is PURE speculation.

Well, it true, the GN is 1mm thinner than my OG Droid. SOLD!!

given that the rest of the specs are completely incorrect, I would say the vzw gnex is by no means as thick as 12mm, when the GSM version is 8.94mm (.5 inches equates to 12.7mm) and that these measurements are rough guesstimates.

Whutsup with that site?
They list the phone as a Samsung Galaxy S II Nexus Prime 4G Android Phone (Verizon Wireless) ???

Look at the features column...ridiculous

I highly doubt it's THAT thick. I wouldn't be surprised if it's 11mm or thinner. If you look at P3Droid's pics it doesn't look all that much thicker than the Razr.

Of course, I'll be happy for anything under 14mm and lighter than 170 grams.

I see what you mean, I just think that a lot is lost in translation from inches to mm, since inches are so large compared to mm. Plus with rounding of inches, it makes the disparities even larger. So it could be 11mm or so. Or it could be completely wrong. Just thought I'd share.\

Also- this is probably the measurement at the thickest part of the phone.

Matias Duarte showed off the VZW version at On the Verge and it was very thin. He even said it is still thin as the LTE version.

+1

The amazon page is clearly just a placeholder for later. The info on the page concerning the GN is flat out wrong.

the phone could be 2 inches thick and you would be SOLD!!.
realisticly tho.. is this phone seriously thicker then a slide qwerty phone from 2 years ago?

the original mock up of the galaxy nexus was a thing of pure awesomeness.. that thing is unfortunately long since dead tho.
