Thin but Durable Case?

I do not see the point of the ultra thin cases. The whole point is to protect the phone from an unexpected harsh 12 g sudden stop on tile or concrete. Thin cases cannot provide that kind of protection.

The Speck CandyShell cases can, and the specific one I bought is military grade with grip edges. It is not pretty, it is meant to work and it does that very well. I have already "tested it" a couple of times.

They offer 8 different flavors of pretty w/o the grip edges though.

I get your point. But as long the case is not slippery it won't fall easily. Have been owning my spigen ultra fit case for 5 months and I have only dropped it once and it protects my phone just fine. People have different taste though

I use the Spigen Slim Armor case and have it in the electric blue color. Love it!! I only have dropped my S5 twice and the case has done it's job. Case and phone in great shape. I also have a glass screen protector on it.

This was the exact one I ordered but gave to my husband. I saw how thin it was and cringed at the thought of the damage I could do... Lol

I too have the Spigen Ultra Fit case, and have dropped my phone off my lap on to concretev3 times....zero damage to the phone, and barely a scratch on the case!

I had the Spigen NeoHybrid for a while, and got bored with it so I got the Magpul case after it came down in price a little bit. The Magpul case is a lot better, it feels thinner and has better grip, also I really like the rest of their products.

This has to be the best case I have ever owned. Got a blue one and went back and got a Red one.

I just looked that up to see what you are referring to.
Appears to be as good as the Speck CandyShell that I have... although mine has grip edges on it.
