I know this whole forum is about N9 cases. Can anyone recommend me a case that is

- Thin
- Grippy
- Protective (Regular Height)

Have you checked out Samsung's own? They have two versions, and they're pretty thin with good grips (both 'normal' and rugged version).

I have a few Caseology ones that do offer pretty good protection, but they're definitely not thin. You will lose that infinity display feel and will add a noticeable bulk to the edges of the phone.

The rugged case is made very well but I wouldn't call it that protective. The sides of the case are pretty thin and don't offer much protection. Good case but I wouldn't consider it that heavy duty.

I will definitely look into this. Thanks

Another problem I realized was thick cases don't work well on DexPad.

Yeah, they probably would either interfere with the port fit, or with wireless charging if the case is too thick.

This will solve the DeX compatibility issue. I have the original DeX dock and a similar adapter.Screenshot_20180909-071400_Amazon%20Shopping.jpg

Any one have luck with the Spigen liquid air or rugged armour? I'm currently using nothing but I got the caseology before the note 9 came out and don't care to much for it. Plus it messes up with my screen protector. Its to bulky for my taste.

the liquid air for the note 8 is a nice feeling case although slightly loose on the sides. I like the case and it doesn't add much hulk at all although I often wonder if it doesn't add enough protection so tend to use something a bit more robust like the tough armour

Too bad Dbrand still yet to release their Grip series for Note 9. You can opt for RhinoShield Crash Guard if you want the balance between protection and beauty of the phone.

It not be the thinnest however the Tech 21 is outstanding for fit and comfort, and yes protection.

I got this Nillkin case on Amazon which is very thin, hard case, and not slippery. Has a little bit of a lip on top and bottom too for front protection.

Yes, I also like this case. It also has a nice textured surface, which is pretty grippy.

Tech 21. I just got one tonight, the smokey gray version and love it. It feels grippy, is a nice quality soft pliable and somehwat thick supportive case. It feels light weight and spneasy to carry.
