Things I hate about my Note 10.1 2014

You can disable "the dumb air command" quite easily.....settings > controls > s pen > air view, and toggle the slider for air command!

Haha, I guess I'm the dumb one... thanks. I had only seen that I could disable it to open every time I 'unsheathed' the S pen. I still like the option of using the 'Pen Window', but once I open it I can disable it again... thanks for the help! I would also wish that I could set the button to activate the eraser in S note, like it does on the phone, but I don't see an option for that either, am I missing something there too?

S note does have an 'export to PDF' option that works fine, I just haven't figured out if there's a way to make the output fit the page properly. I did manage to import a 'true white' background so the printer wouldn't spend a long time printing the off white background. In the meantime I will try papyrus, thanks for the suggestion. So far my first semester using the Note as my 'digital notebook' and book viewer has gone alright, despite some hiccups with S note.

*edit:
I've since tried Papyrus, and I like it way better than S note for its ease of use (for my purpose). The only gripe is that to be able to search for handwritten words in Evernote I have to export it as a PNG or JPEG, but I can live with that. I am going to try the import PDF plugin for it, and maybe buy it. I guess I need to learn to use Evernote better since I don't really know much about it; I just want to be able to pull up whatever notes that have particular keywords I search for...

I got the G note 10.1 2014 for taking notes in class, and so I could just bring the tablet to class instead of notebooks and books and a laptop (although I still need computer for programming stuff). S note is pretty neat, but one teacher is not allowing digital devices on open note quizzes, so I will have to print. When I go to print from S note, whether I do it directly, or export, or change the background... it prints at a weird size that won't take up the whole page, and it prints an actual WHITE background on top of the WHITE paper... it just highlights how this device seems a little rough around the edges sometimes. Why the fu*# would anyone want to print a white on white page?! It shouldn't be that hard... I am a little disappointed that this thing wasn't created with users in mind it would seem. Also, while using S note I can't disable the dumb 'air command' and there's no option to! It's a little annoying. Hoping to find more usefulness in the future, but would need to keep the S pen functionality... I want this to be my digital notebook... it's SOOO close to be awesome, it's a real shame they don't give more control options... I guess I'll have to spend more time on this forum. :p

What printer do you own that can print "white"? :o
