Thinking about getting the Thunderbolt...

I'm thinking about getting the Thunderbolt next Thursday, and was wondering about a couple of things:

1. Can you tether out of the box like on the droid x via bluetooth (PAN networking)?
2. Will the Thunderbolt get sense 3.0?
3. When will gingerbread and/or ice cream come out for it?

I would be upgrading from the Droid X using the early upgrade option.

On the X, I can turn on bluetooth and allows me to share it's connection via the PAN profile. Does this work on the Thunderbolt?

Any likes/dislikes from those that have upgraded from the X?

3. HTC has said that gingerbread will be available for bolt in Q2, so that means it could drop anytime from today until June 31st ... imo it will most likely happen between the end of May through June, at least that's what I'm feeling

I upgraded from the X. The only thing i really miss is the battery life and the slightly thinner body. This is the first phone I've had in a long time where I haven't got new phone itch after having it a month. This one is a keeper at least until the bionic hits.
