Not sure about Loki, but you can modify the phone so much without rooting and roming that I don't see myself doing it anytime soon.

The signal strength is great. I came from a Galaxy Nexus and I can tell a huge difference in my house.

Wow. You were team Samsung! Didn't see that coming at all! If you don't mind me asking, what are your thoughts on the G2? Why it over the S4 or Note 3?

Im Giving My Note 3 to my wife and getting the G2 As soon as Verizon finally releases the white version.

Note 3 VZW development is DOA - Xda has 2 lousy threads, no way to flash kernels.
4.4 aosp and hybrids will be out soon too.

the G2 development scene is HOT!
