Thinking about switching from Iphone

There are probably a zillion questions like mine already asked, but these forums usually have bad search engines, so....

I gather coonecting to the Outlook server at work for emails, calendar, contacts is not a problem?

My Iphone has a traffic function which I use a lot. Can I get that on the S5?

I gather I can use the S5 like an external drive, i.e. No Itunes, which I hate. Will I readily be able to move pics and videos from my Macbook Pro to the S5?

Outlook and traffic function shouldn't be a problem.

As far as transferring files with your Macbook, that will require installing Android file transfer on it before you can use it to move the photos and videos.

Think pretty hard before you leave that iPhone. The latest Android ROMs water down the functionality of the S5 to the point where the phone is slow and bloated out of the box, and you can't remove the crapware. Until someone figures out how to put custom roms back on the things that wonderful SD card you want to use is pretty much read only.

Yes, when you move them to the phone they will automatically be stored in your gallery.
