Ok, I've switched back and forth between the Tour and the Droid a few times and settled on the Droid, for now.
Here's the main thing: The keyboard on the Droid sucks. Plain and Simple. There's no getting around it. Don't ever plan on typing while walking, or using any of the fancy shortcuts you're used to (I miss long press on a letter to capitalize, for example, or double space to period).
It's USEABLE sure, but not good. So if you plan on composing tons of emails and stuff, this is not for you. I could compose very professional emails on my Tour with correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, formatting, paragraph formation, etc. very easily.
On the Droid, you can do it, but it takes about 1.5-2 times the time.
However, the pros DEFINITELY outweigh that one con. GPS on Blackberries suck, no matter what model. It is never fully accurate and takes a long time to find your location. With Google Maps Nav on the Droid, you really can toss out your Garmin GPS. It's amazingly accurate always.
Furthermore, if you're going to have to pay 30 bucks for a data plan, USE it. I would only use my Tour's browser if I HADDDD to, since it was so slow and cumbersome. Now, even if my laptop is in the same room, I sometimes just look up something quick on my Droid because it's such a good browsing experience.
As for apps, the Droid has it beat. There is only one app that BB has bested the Droid in: UberTwitter. It's the best twitter app across any platform.
Unlike a lot of people on this site, I'm not a huge Android fanatic (no offense intented). It has shortcomings (like the fact that no Android device has really had a GOOD keyboard, to date), but the pros far outweigh the cons.
Just my two cents. If you have a specific comparison question, I'd be more than happy to help out!
